About
The Virginia Chapter of the Healthcare Data and Analytics Association (HDAA) exists to provide development and networking opportunities for healthcare analytics professionals and advocates throughout the Commonwealth. The chapter seeks to promote the advancement of healthcare analytics and cultivate opportunities for collaboration among its members. We are aligned with and support the primary mission of HDAA, which is to facilitate greater use of analytical information systems that help lower healthcare costs; improve quality of care; and improve patient satisfaction and safety.

Kyle Russell
Kyle Russell is CEO of Virginia Health Information (VHI), where he leads the organization’s work to strengthen Virginia’s health data infrastructure and expand the use of data to support better healthcare decision-making. Since joining VHI as a data analyst in 2013, Kyle has held leadership roles across analytics and strategy before becoming CEO in 2021. With more than a decade of experience in health data and analytics, Kyle brings a strong understanding of how data can connect organizations, inform policy and support meaningful improvements in healthcare.
