Membership is free for healthcare data & analytics professionals. HDAA is open to providers, payors, and accredited educational institutions involved in healthcare data warehousing and business intelligence within the US and Canada.
Who Can Join?
HDAA considers employees of the following organizations candidates for membership.
Entities whose primary focus is patient care, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and affiliated primary care organizations.
Entities other than the patient that finance or reimburse the cost of health services — including insurance companies and health plans.
Accredited institutions providing a focused curriculum in healthcare-related fields — preparing the next generation of analytics professionals.
Specialty Care Providers, Physician Medical Groups, and Community Collaboratives focused on healthcare analytics and data innovation.
Regulatory, research, and government agencies are considered on a case-by-case basis and require comprehensive vetting before approval.
Membership Restrictions
HDAA is built for healthcare practitioners — not vendors or commercial interests. To maintain the integrity and neutrality of our community, the following are not eligible for membership:
- —Vendors — Companies that sell products or services to healthcare organizations.
- —Consultants — Independent consultants or consulting firms working in healthcare.
- —Departments that market/sell products — Internal departments within a provider organization that market or sell products.
- —Vendor-funded education staff/students — Educational staff or students receiving financial remuneration from a vendor.
Email Requirement
All HDAA members must use their healthcare organization’s email address in their individual profile.
This helps verify eligibility and ensures our community remains exclusively for healthcare practitioners.
